Microsoft issued a fix on Thursday afternoon for the security flaw that led the Department of Homeland Security to suggest customers change browsers until the problem was resolved.   Security Update for Internet Explorer (2965111) - Bulletin ID MS14-021 Those staff that have a Windows desktop or laptop computer will need to make sure they run "Windows Update" to get this fix installed on the machine.  I also recommend that all windows users enable automatic updates so you receive the latest security patches for you machine on a regular basis. Manually Run Windows Update Process:  Start - All Programs - Windows Update - Check for Updates Download and install all the recommended updates as suggested by Microsoft. Enable Automatic Update:  Start - Control Panel - System and Security - Windows Update - Change Settings.  Under "Important Settings" select "Install updates automatically (recommended). I strongly encourage you to apply this update as quickly as possible.  The security flaw allows malicious hackers to get around security protections in the Windows operating system.  You could then be infected when visiting a compromised website.
