SCREDsters Mitch and Nic collaborated with Sunrise's AP, Carrie Hoffman, to lead a de-escalation strategies workshop with Sunrise’s fantastic team of 30+ EAs, SpEd teachers—and Superintendent Paul!
The workshop centered on "Talking to Stress" (educator handout, parent handout) and left participants "gushing" with gratitude and buzzing about how to apply the learning with their students! The group shared thanks for the practical connections to how their Behavior Support Plans are written, along with Sunrise’s school-wide work with Yale’s Mood Meter.
