There has been a large focus across our member districts on increasing students' Opportunities to Respond (OTRs). This is an emphasis in the state-wide structured literacy work, and OTRs are also a core PBIS behavior strategy in each of the member districts. Over the spring/summer, support staff like Sandy Benson (pictured) at the SCRED D.O. assembled a dozen "OTR Kits" which each contain the versatile supplies that unlock a host of engaging OTR techniques! Six of these OTR Kits are even available for teachers to rent from the SCRED Lending Library!
