Our director, Nicole Woodward, recently spent a day at the state Capitol with the Minnesota Administrators for Special Education (MASE)! Whether it was a meeting with a senator or a legislative assistant, Nicole used her voice to advocate for the needs of our schools and communities.
Nicole was overjoyed by the pause that one legislator took to rearrange her office and listen intently to the stories of the educators in the room. The legislator offered to make calls and carry the message forward about the needs that our schools have and the support they need. It's incredible to see the impact that even a short conversation can have!
