Written Expression

Written expression refers to the ability to communicate ideas and thoughts in writing, using language and structure appropriate to the context and purpose of the writing. It involves the development of ideas, voice, style, and organization as well as the conventions of written language, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax. These elements combined allow authors to convey meaning effectively.
