How old do I need to be to take the test (without exceptions)?
In Minnesota, the minimum age required to take the GED® test is 19 years old.
Do I need to prove I’m a resident of Minnesota to take the test?
In Minnesota, there is no residency requirement.
The closest testing center is in a different state. Can I take the exam there?
Minnesota doesn’t have a residency requirement, so they’ll allow you to take the GED® test there.
How much does the GED® test on cost?
Minnesota charges $36 per GED® test module. Voucher codes may be available. Contact one of our instructors for additional information.
Can I take all of the parts at once or do I need to setup different appointment times?
Yes, in Minnesota you can take all test parts in the same day if you can find a testing center with hours that accommodate it. Please note that SCRED meets this accommodation.
