eduCLIMBER is a website that automatically imports data from different places — e.g., the attendance, discipline, grade, etc. data in our
Synergy websites; the assessment data in our
FastBridge website. From there, we can weave that data together and visualize it in useful charts, smart spreadsheets, and much more!
We also enter data directly into eduCLIMBER —e.g., the progress monitoring data for students who are receiving interventions.

Key Features
Charts
One of eduCLIMBER's most useful features,
Charts let you take data from Synergy (e.g., discipline, attendance, etc.) and FastBridge (e.g., aMath, mySAEBRS) and
visualize your "big picture" data in bar charts, line charts, scatterplots, etc. This lets us step back and analyze our continuous improvement efforts.

Collections
Collections in eduCLIMBER are kind of a like a Google Drive folder or a
Pinterest board. Most of the charts and data walls in eduCLIMBER can be "pinned" to a collection, which makes it
easy to find your stuff later rather than having to create them again from scratch.

Data Walls
Data Walls are essentially a
"smart spreadsheet." They display data in sortable columns, and the
data automatically updates. Gone are the days of downloading spreadsheet files and then taking hours to manually collate them in Excel! With Data Walls you can pull up multiple metrics about the same group of students, and you have tools at your fingertips to takes notes, tag students, add interventions, etc.

Interventions
You can assign an intervention to a student (e.g., supplementary math instruction, a Check & Connect mentoring program, etc.) and then attach one or more
progress monitoring schedules (e.g., a math probe we take 1x/week). When you enter data, eduCLIMBER will graph it for you, helping you to determine how effective your intervention is (for individuals and the group) and to document any changes you're making to the intervention.

Tags
By default, eduCLIMBER lets you filter data by demographics like gender, grade, ethnicity, etc. But what if you want to filter for something else (e.g., find growth rates for students who received an intervention funded by the ADSIS grant?). You'll need to "tag" students in order to
filter your data using custom categories.
